Laptop by Lamp Light

Frustratingly, on Christmas morning my old laptop's screen backlight stopped working. Along with other screen related problems, battery problems and minor other issues I decided it was finally time to retire the old laptop. I then spent the next 5 days painfully moving what I wanted to keep from my old laptop, to this one, my work and now 'main' laptop.
Arg.
Not how I was expecting to spend Christmas and the last few days of 2013, but I suppose it adds an extra level on 'freshness' and 'new beginnings' to the year.
